These "splash guards" are OEM aftermarket parts specifically for the Ford Fusion. Installation was pretty easy, the first one took a while, but the other three were a breeze.

Tools needed:

- a couple flathead screwdrivers (or a trim panel remover tool)

- drill & 1/4" drill bit

- paper towels or rags (to clean parts & use to keep your tools from scratching the car's paint)

So this isn't a very technically challenging mod, but I just got them and figured I'd post up some pics to show what a floorliner is as opposed to a regular rubber floormat.

Installation process:

1) remove stock floor mats

2) thoroughly vaccuum floor pan area

3) put floorliners in place

WeatherTech manufactures these floorliners molded to fit the footwell contours of specific vehicles with a lip to keep dirt and water on the liner instead of running off the edges like it would ...

There are only 30 drivers ...

I'm just about due to replace two of the tires also, so I'm looking at alterntives of buying a whole new set of wheels/tires. Only thing is that if I buy different wheels, I'd rather take it as an opportunity to upgrade the aesthetics, but the car as fairly narrow wheel wells and I'd need to find wheels with a shallow enough ...

Hey guys, my name is Matt, I met a bunch of you today at the meeting. I currently drive a 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo and have just done a few modifications to it such as: 22" Champion Wheels, 20% Tint, and added red led lights in the grill and underneath to match the brake calibers. I am also considering some sort of new exhaust. If you guys have any ideas besides what I heard today that would be great. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Edmunds Inside Line

PASADENA, California — After three auto show appearances and the occasional spy photo and video from Germany's high-speed Nürburgring test circuit, it's no secret that the Lexus LF-A supercar concept is headed for production. With an estimated 500 horsepower coming from the LF-A's 5.0-liter V10, we didn't expect the Lexus to come cheap, but Inside Line has learned that the car will carry a price tag over $200,000.

Hi, I'm Linda. I'm new to learning about the interior workings of cars, but I do appreciate beauty when I see it.

That's why my first car was a '98 Mustang GT Convertible.

Sadly, I couldn't afford to bring that car to Bentley, so it's for sale on Autotrader. I'm pretty sure I could convince my father to drive it up here if someone was honestly interested.

Now I'm driving a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT Coupe. Don't have pictures quite yet, but I should have some soon. Or maybe ...

Ok, I figured that I'd post up some pics and what not of my engine build. I decided to keep the car, but as of now I either have shot rings or a cracked piston...so its time to do work son.

The plan:

Speedpro forged pistons

Moroso main cap girdle

F303-cam

1.6 roller rockers

porter heads and intake

Day1: Breakdown begins

-cooling system out

-supercharger piping/mass air out

-plenum off

-exhaust out

-battery out

-shifter out

-driveshaft out

Pics coming soon

Well guys, it finally happened. After 4 years of building race engines, I finally had one go south on me last week during practice, though the results could have been much worse. About three quarters of the way through the first round of practice, I was heading into turn 3 and despite my foot being flat on the floor, the motor started to slow like it had just run out of fuel. A quick glance over at my gauges showed that the red warning light was on and the oil pressure was at zero, zip, nada, ...

What Do You Think of the Tesla Motor's Car?

As I am sure you have all heard, Tesla Motor's has finally started full production of their car, the lotus looking 100% electric sports car that does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and can go about 220miles on a single charge.\

I will admit, I was skeptical at first, but I am now really interested in this car. If this is the way we have to move forward, its not too bad of a move. It has 100% of its torque at 0 rpm, so it just shoots off the line.

What are your thoughts?

The video is for a digital photography project, that required 25 photos on a common theme... you may appreciate the subject.

The Catch: We only have 5 days to make the trip.

The Route: Figured I'd throw up a map of our planned route, we'll be following old Route 66 from St. Louis to Flagstaff, hoping to stop by the Gateway Arch, Cadillac Ranch, the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and maybe Sequoia ...

right now my brother has been talking to me about finding him an sn95 cobra (thats 94-98 for all you folks who have no idea about mustangs). I guess he wants to start a friendly rivalry with one of his coworkers haha. Right now he plans on making a move later in the year or early next year. I'm pretty excited to see that we share mustang (and cobra to be more specific) blood. Heres an idea of what we're shooting for, besides the harwood 4'' cowl induction hood off my 94 gt muahaha:

let's talk small turbo

Soon I'll be in need of a turbo it seems so opinions on best ones with a decent power curve that start spooling at 2500-3000rpm range?

so far T61 came in my view and whole t3/t4 hybrid setups, anything else major that I would be missing at this point?

I'm not looking for a huge setup hense the low spooling range need power in mid to higher range 6.1k redline; running on stock internals on a 4cyl 2AZ-FE if anyone's familiar.

Opinions and anything else welcome.

Yesterday we took delivery of our 1965 Superformance Cobra

It is a Caroll Shelby Authorized body, and is therefore considered to be a true 1965 (apparently), and is there by exempt from current EPA regulations

Now....to the important stuff.....the drive train!!

It has a Roush 427SR with a TW Cam (produces more tq down low), which is mated to a Tremec T5 transmission. The exhaust sound is amazing.....

So, I know every now and then I've thought about what the future might hold for auto manufacturers in America. I usually end up coming to the conclusion that I should save up some money and buy a nice American sports car sooner than later before imports completely take over. It's mostly a combination of labor / manufacturing costs that just means higher vehicle prices, which can't compete with foreign (mostly Southeast Asian) companies.

Anyway, no more babbling, here's an interesting response ...
